About Us

Open since 1986 and rennovated in 2005, Laurel Acres Kennels has a long history of caring for your pets.

As a member of The American Boarding Kennels Association, we subscribe to their code of ethics.  Many of our employees are certified by The American Boarding Kennels Association as a “Certified Pet Care Technician," and have also completed the Pet First Aid Training course taught by The American Red Cross.

Our goal has always been to provide quality care in a safe environment.  In keeping with that theme, we serve Iams Minichunks, a top quality chicken and rice kibbled food which is easily digested by most dogs.  For those discriminating eaters who prefer their own food, we are happy to accomodate their needs.

Kitty Condos: Our "Kitty Condos" have been totally remodeled for your feline companions.  Now completely heated and air conditioned, your cats will have a comfortable stay in each of our 24 spacious and colorful Kitty Condos.

Dog Rooms: We also updated our dog runs! Air conditioning has been installed in all of our 72 indoor/outdoor covered runs for the extremely hot summer days.  For the colder months, there is in-floor radiant heat so the heat is located where the dogs are resting, sleeping and playing.

We know that your pet is a valued member of your family.  Rest assured that all of us here at Laurel Acres Kennels are committed to doing everything we can to make your pet's stay as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible until your return.
